Centura Glocal Toffee Natural Porcelain 24″ x 24″

Glocal Toffee is a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Glocal range. It carries the flat, faintly mottled face of poured concrete, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 935 – Silhouette. Boxes hold 3 pieces and cover 11.51 sq ft, or 3.8358 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
