Description

Glocal Sugar is a 25″ x 48″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Glocal range. It carries the flat, faintly mottled face of poured concrete, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. A 25″ x 48″ tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. The 20 mm body is thick enough for exterior paving, including pedestal systems over a flat roof or deck. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. Centura matches it to grout 927 – Light Pewter. It ships 1 pieces to a box, covering 7.75 sq ft, or 7.7519 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
