Centura Glocal Ginger Natural Porcelain 24″ x 24″

Glocal Ginger belongs to Centura’s Glocal range and measures 24″ x 24″. It carries the flat, faintly mottled face of poured concrete, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The 24″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 909 – Sterling. Boxes hold 3 pieces and cover 11.51 sq ft, or 3.8358 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
