Centura Glocal Clear Natural Porcelain 24″ x 48″

Description

Glocal Clear belongs to Centura’s Glocal range and measures 24″ x 48″. It carries the flat, faintly mottled face of poured concrete, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Shade variation is rated V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The 24″ x 48″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 909 – Sterling. One box contains 2 pieces, enough for 15.44 sq ft, or 7.722 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
