Glocal Classic belongs to Centura’s Glocal range and measures 12″ x 12″. It carries the flat, faintly mottled face of poured concrete, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 8.5 mm. Centura matches it to grout 929 – Charcoal Gray. Boxes hold 6 pieces and cover 5.75 sq ft, or 0.9588 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
