Centura Glocal Chamois Natural Porcelain 12″ x 12″

Description

Glocal Chamois is a 12″ x 12″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Glocal range. It carries the flat, faintly mottled face of poured concrete, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 8.5 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 939 – Mist. One box contains 6 pieces, enough for 5.75 sq ft, or 0.9588 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
