Centura Glocal Chamois Natural Porcelain 12″ x 24″

Description

Glocal Chamois is a 12″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Glocal range. It carries the flat, faintly mottled face of poured concrete, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Shade variation is rated V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 12″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 939 – Mist. Boxes hold 7 pieces and cover 13.56 sq ft, or 1.9376 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
