Centura lists Glitch Sand in the Glitch range: a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile. It is finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Expect variation of V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24″ x 48″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9.5 mm. Centura matches it to grout 903 – Birch. One box contains 2 pieces, enough for 15.22 sq ft, or 7.6104 sq ft a piece.
