Glitch Salt is a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Glitch range. Centura gives it a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Expect variation of V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The 24″ x 48″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9.5 mm. The suggested grout is 973 Warm Taupe. Boxes hold 2 pieces and cover 15.22 sq ft, or 7.6104 sq ft a piece.
