Centura Glitch Gravel Natural Porcelain 12″ x 24″

Glitch Gravel is a 12″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Glitch range. Centura gives it a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Shade variation is rated V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The 12″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9.5 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 973 – Warm Taupe. Boxes hold 7 pieces and cover 13.42 sq ft, or 1.9175 sq ft a piece.
