Centura Glitch Clay Natural Porcelain 24″ x 24″

Glitch Clay is a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Glitch range. Centura gives it a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9.5 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 973-warm-taupe. Boxes hold 4 pieces and cover 15.34 sq ft, or 3.8344 sq ft a piece.
