Description
Centura lists Glitch Carbon in the Glitch range: a 12″ x 24″ porcelain tile. It is finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Shade variation is rated V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The 12″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9.5 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 927-light-pewter. Boxes hold 7 pieces and cover 13.42 sq ft, or 1.9175 sq ft a piece.
