Glitch Ash is a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Glitch range. It is finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24″ x 48″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9.5 mm. The suggested grout is 939 – Mist. It ships 2 pieces to a box, covering 15.22 sq ft, or 7.6104 sq ft a piece.
