Description

Elysian Travertino Light belongs to Centura’s Elysian range and measures 24″ x 48″. It carries the soft banding of travertine, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24″ x 48″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9 mm. The suggested grout is 903 Birch. Boxes hold 2 pieces and cover 15.44 sq ft, or 7.722 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
