Centura Elysian Beige Catalan Natural Porcelain 24″ x 48″

Elysian Beige Catalan is a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Elysian range. The surface is a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The 24″ x 48″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 903 Birch. It ships 2 pieces to a box, covering 15.44 sq ft, or 7.722 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
