Dotti Light Beige is a 12″ x 12″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Dotti range. Centura gives it a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. Centura tests it at R9, the rating for dry interior floors. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Edges are cushioned, not rectified, which means a wider joint and more tolerance for an uneven substrate. The body measures 8 mm. The suggested grout is 903 – Birch. It ships 11 pieces to a box, covering 11 sq ft, or 1 sq ft a piece.
