Description

Dorset Blanco is a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Dorset range. Centura gives it a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. A 24″ x 24″ tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Underfoot it is rated R9, the rating for dry interior floors. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9.5 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 909 – Sterling. Boxes hold 5 pieces and cover 19.28 sq ft, or 3.8551 sq ft a piece.
