Centura Cortina Natural Matte Porcelain 6″ x 36″

Cortina Natural is a 6″ x 36″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Cortina range. Centura gives it a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Expect variation of V4, a wide spread where individual pieces differ markedly, so the tile should be dry-laid from several boxes before it is set. A 6″ x 36″ tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 915 – Light Smoke. It ships 10 pieces to a box, covering 14.33 sq ft, or 1.4331 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
