Chamonix Bianco is a 12″ x 12″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Chamonix range. It is finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Shade variation is rated V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Edges are cushioned, not rectified, which means a wider joint and more tolerance for an uneven substrate. The body measures 8.5 mm. Centura matches it to grout 949 – Silverado. One box contains 10 pieces, enough for 9.7 sq ft, or 0.97 sq ft a piece.
