Basic Hexagon/Octagon Octagon Black and White is a 12″ x 12″ mosaic from Centura’s Basic Hexagon/Octagon range. The surface is a satin sheen, halfway between matte and gloss. Shade variation is rated V1, so pieces run near-identical and the finished floor reads as one continuous surface. The hexagon format breaks up the grid a square or rectangular tile would give you. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Edges are cushioned, not rectified, which means a wider joint and more tolerance for an uneven substrate. The body measures 6 mm. The suggested grout is 949 – Silverado. Boxes hold 20 pieces and cover 18.69 sq ft, or 0.9346 sq ft a piece.
