Basic Hexagon/Octagon White belongs to Centura’s Basic Hexagon/Octagon range and measures 10″ x 12″. The surface is a satin sheen, halfway between matte and gloss. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V1, so pieces run near-identical and the finished floor reads as one continuous surface. The hexagon format breaks up the grid a square or rectangular tile would give you. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Edges are cushioned, not rectified, which means a wider joint and more tolerance for an uneven substrate. The body measures 5 mm. Centura matches it to grout 949 – Silverado. Boxes hold 23 pieces and cover 19.31 sq ft, or 0.8396 sq ft a piece.
