Centura Arkistyle Fossil Natural Porcelain 12″ x 24″

Centura lists Arkistyle Fossil in the Arkistyle range: a 12″ x 24″ porcelain tile. Centura gives it a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. At 12″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 908 Dove Gray. One box contains 7 pieces, enough for 13.42 sq ft, or 1.9175 sq ft a piece.
