Arkistyle Fossil belongs to Centura’s Arkistyle range and measures 24″ x 24″. It is finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Expect variation of V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. At 24″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 908 Dove Gray. It ships 3 pieces to a box, covering 11.51 sq ft, or 3.8358 sq ft a piece.
