Accademia Tintoretto belongs to Centura’s Accademia range and measures 24″ x 24″. Centura gives it a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. A 24″ x 24″ tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 10 mm. The suggested grout is 945 Light Bluff. Boxes hold 3 pieces and cover 11.45 sq ft, or 3.8153 sq ft a piece.
